This is the most current fire fees schedule for the Southern Marin Fire District. The included fee schedule is currently in effect for the Southern Marin Fire District and the City of Mill Valley.

These are the most current fire ordinances for the Southern Marin Fire District. 

NOTE: New 2022 California Fire Code (effective January 1st, 2023)

City of Mill Valley 2022 Fire Code Ordinances 

This is the most current fire ordinance for the City of Mill Valley utilized by the Southern Marin Fire District. This is currently established under the City of Mill Valley municipal code in Chapter 15.

This is the public posting of the draft SMFD ordinance for the adoption of the 2025 California Fire Code (CFC) & the 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code (CWUIC). Next public hearing is scheduled for October 22nd, 2025 @ 6:00 p.m. 28 Liberty Ship Way, Suite 2800, Sausalito, CA 94965

NOTE: New 2025 CFC & CWUIC (expected effective January 1st, 2026)
